To say it could have gone either way is an understatement, the simple swipe of an index finger is the beginning of “our story”. The Fact you’re reading this means that we both swiped in the same direction. Yes, our story begins as 2 virtual profiles on a dating app but right away it was clear this was a tangible connection. Sarah was travel nursing in Digby NS at that time and covid-19 had just shut the world down. We spent the next 3 months video chatting and getting to know one another until we developed a scheme to sneak to Moncton and meet one another. It was clear at this point there was something special between us.

Sarah continued to travel nurse and then moved back to Moncton to help her parents operate their business. During this time we spent most weekends together. Eventually she decided to move to Fredericton and made a home with Beau and I. We purchased a home in May of 2022 which we continue to share with our boy Beau. Fast forward to December 2023 I took a deep breath and got down on one knee to ask for her hand in marriage. Much like the swipe right, it was a yes to the ring and on August 10th we look forward to sharing our very special day with all our friends and family.
